Zabiny Brno had a 29-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a good game for international point guard Eliska Hamzova (182-2001) who led her team to a victory with a triple-double by scoring 12 points, 14 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 steals. American forward Stephanie Jones (188-1998, college: Maryland) contributed with 22 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Zabiny Brno players scored in double figures. American guard Aleah Nelson (168-2001, college: Temple) answered with 16 points and point guard Lucie Valkova (170-2005) added 9 points in the effort for SBS Ostrava. SBS Ostrava's coach Iveta Raskova gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win.
